Summer Hook Ins are Coming - Open to All

Back by popular demand are our weekly outdoor  summer hook ins which is open to all.  We will be starting as soon as the weather is warm.  The final date has not been determined but check back often as I will post it as soon as possible.   Coffee, tea and bottled water is always plentiful and of course desserts.  Bring your mug just in case I run short.  Chairs are usually plentiful but if you have a lawn chair you can stash in your car it would be appreciated.

Time:  10:00am - 3:00pm

Learn to hook the perfect leaves in fine or wider cuts.   Carolyn is going to be doing an exciting new workshop which will include a new runner design.  More details will be posted in May.
This one day workshop is essential for anyone interested in hooking mats with nylons.   These mats are excellent stand up well to moisture, so perfect for the bathroom.  Grenfell mats were hooked with stockings and this workshop will give you the tools to create your own.  For anyone with alleries to wool, nylons are the perfect alternative.  In studio
The Kuna people developed the art of Mola which originated as body painting.  Over time their traditional geometric designs were applied to fabric.  The designs depict realistic and abstract flowers, sea animals and birds in bold, rich colours.  This class will show you how to created a hooked mola in keeping with the Kuna styles.  Kit photos will be posted soon.
